COMING UP NEXT - 2 CRACKING COMEDIES! THURSDAY 1ST AND FRIDAY 2ND JUNE 2023
Our next production is two one-act plays, written and directed by Nancy McPherson. ‘Excess Baggage’ features six women, each carrying different kinds of baggage, who meet in the Secret Sanctuary Health and Beauty Spa. There are plenty of laughs, but also some poignant moments and home truths as the plot unfolds! ‘The Untimely Outing of Minty McGraw’ is a black comedy where an unlikely bunch of characters collide at a family wedding reception. Four men and three women carry this story to a different level! See below for details……..

Our Open Evening on 16th August 2023 at 7.30pm in our SDG premises at Corsehillbank Street, Stewarton, is the ideal opportunity to come along and find out what we do. If you’re 18 or over and share our interest in drama, why not come along al 7.30pm, have a look round, chat to our members and check out our facilities. Our photo galleries of past productions, our costume and set stores are all worth a look. You can also find out information about joining the group, becoming a patron or supporting us in different ways. We’re always happy to welcome people who are interested in community drama!
THE FABULOUS ‘BOUNCERS’ BY JOHN GODBER, HITS THE STAGE ON THURSDAY 26TH AND FRIDAY 27TH OCTOBER 2023!
In our 50th season, we’re excited to bring back to Stewarton the fabulous full-length play, ‘Bouncers’, written by John Godber and directed by Nancy McPherson. This play challenges the four male actors to take us through the laughs, the dangers, the music, the dancing and the raw truths of nightlife in Mr Cinders Nightclub. The actors play multiple roles in this fast-paced, must-see play. Moving quickly from scene to scene, you will need your wits about you to keep up! This is a theatre experience that packs a punch! You can’t afford to miss it!
